Roger Rodés Wins Grammy for Work on Shakira’s Album
Roger Rodés has achieved one of the most significant milestones of his career: he has won a Grammy Award as Recording Engineer for his work on Shakira’s album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which was awarded Best Latin Pop Album in 2025. This achievement confirms his long-standing expertise and the technical impact of his work behind the recording console.
Shakira’s album, widely regarded as one of the standout releases of last year, took home the award at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, competing against other major artists such as Anitta, Luis Fonsi, Kany García, and Kali Uchis. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in the United States also recognizes engineers, mixers, and mastering professionals alongside the main artist and producers in this category.

Another Grammy Milestone
This award highlights Rodés’ technical talent. With over 20 years of experience collaborating with artists such as Rosalía, Macaco, Estopa, and Love of Lesbian, he adds this honor to a well-established career that already includes a Latin Grammy for Nathy Peluso’s album Calambre and three previous Latin Grammy nominations: two for Record of the Year (Rosalía’s DESPECHÁ and Shakira/Bizarrap’s collaboration in 2023) and one for Album of the Year in 2024 for the same Shakira project that has now earned him a Grammy.
In 2025, Roger Rodés will continue his work as a recording engineer on new projects and as part of the production duo MEDUSOS, which he forms alongside Manu Guix.
