Nil Moliner’s Docu-Concert Premieres on Movistar+
Nil Moliner’s vision goes beyond the stage in his latest project: the docu-concert 12,500 Steps, a hybrid format that blends the emotion of a live performance with the intimacy of concert preparation. The film allows audiences to follow the artist from the early planning stages, through pre-show nerves, all the way to performing his biggest hits—offering a narrative that goes beyond music to reveal the soul behind his most ambitious show to date. It will premiere exclusively on Movistar Plus+ on 19 December.
Titled 12,500 Steps, the production refers both to the physical journey from his home in Sant Feliu de Llobregat to the Palau Sant Jordi and to the emotional path of reaching such an iconic stage. Filmed during his landmark show on 20 April 2024, the docu-concert offers more than just music: it explores rehearsals, includes intimate reflections, and highlights the connection with his team—his on-stage companions and true collaborators in the show. The film is directed by Alberto García, the videographer who regularly works with Nil Moliner on tour.
Across its 90-minute runtime, the film features performances of standout tracks such as Libertad and Dos Primaveras, while also bringing guest appearances from friends and fellow artists like Dani Fernández and Álvaro de Luna, adding extra layers of emotion, chemistry, and authenticity. This type of production reinforces Nil Moliner’s identity as an artist committed to expanding his creative universe through a close, honest, and artistic lens.
Docu-Concert and Arena Shows: A New Milestone
The release of 12,500 Steps comes at a key moment, following the success of his Lugar Paraíso Tour. After selling out every date in 2024, Nil is taking things a step further, confirming his return to large-scale venues next year.
In 2025, Nil Moliner will perform in three major arenas across Spain: on 22 November at Navarra Arena in Pamplona, on 17 December at Madrid’s WiZink Center, and on 27 December at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi. These landmark shows signal a new level in his career and solidify his position as one of the leading artists in Spanish pop.
With 12,500 Steps, Nil Moliner proves that his music not only moves audiences on stage but also creates immersive experiences that resonate on a deeper level. The docu-concert marks the beginning of a new chapter in his artistic journey—one that goes beyond music and is set to make an impact on the country’s biggest stages.
